Future Business Leaders Make a Splash in Stamford!

We're thrilled to welcome Synchrony Financial Business Leader Program (BLP) participants to our collective impact efforts! Through June 30, these business leaders will work with Stamford Cradle to Career to assess the feasibility of organizing a Youth Summit and how to greater incorporate the youth voice into this collective impact initiative. The six young men are excited to be involved and to begin working on bringing a fresh new perspective to our efforts.

"It’s one thing to provide the resources to someone for a successful and enthralling Youth Summit. It’s another to excite them to use the resources we will be cultivating. We have the task of combining both and we are looking forward to doing just that," said Doug Deidrick, a sales expert for Synchrony Financial.

“I’m very awestruck to see leaders from different sectors come together to solve some of the critical problems of the Stamford community," said Manuel Roman, a sales and relationship management expert, of Stamford Cradle to Career. "This is an amazing coalition of merging resources that will undoubtedly enhance and uplift Stamford youth and children. We are looking forward to doing our part."

Integration, inclusion and diversity is at the heart of everything we do. All children and youth are in need of something.
