United Way of Western Connecticut Seeks Requests for Proposals

Funding will focus on supporting families living paycheck to paycheck

DANBURY, NEW MILFORD, STAMFORD -(November 17, 2016) — United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) announced today that it is accepting Requests for Proposals from nonprofit agencies providing early childhood education and afterschool programming. The region served by this grant will include Greater Danbury, Greater New Milford and Stamford. 

Nonprofit applicants should serve the ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population and provide affordable childcare and/or afterschool programming opportunities to families for whom the cost of childcare is burdensome.
